But first coffee. As cliche as this saying might be, it is most fucking definitely true- especially when trying to get your work day started super early in the morning. Now, there are plenty of coffee shops that I love here in Austin, but only a handful where I can actually work from and also spend leisure time. I am very lucky (if you want to call it that) to have a job that allows me to "work from home" two days out of the week. On these days, it is very rare that I actually stay at home. My job requires a lot of creativity and writing and if I stayed at home to do this I would never get it done. Home = too many damn distractions. Instead, I usually go to one of these five coffee shops that I am about to write about.
To be honest, I was very hesitant to write this post because I really like my coffee shops and I also really like them not to be crowded. But, oh well! Here ya go. Oh, one more thing. I love to work from these coffee shops for very particular reasons: 1) the service is awesome and the people working there are super sweet 2) parking is always available and free (this one is very important if you are a digital nomad on a tight schedule/anxious to get work started at a particular time and don't want to lose track of time looking for damn parking) 3) wifi works extremely well (another very important factor if you are working remotely from the office 4) the coffee/pastries are bomb and 5) noise and people are manageable.
